Our Mission

The Mission of FORGOTTEN CHILDREN, a non-profit organization, established under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Act, is to improve the conditions of children living in difficult circumstances through advocacy, research, training, and projects, especially in the area of education. Eco-responsibility is also part of our mission. FORGOTTEN CHILDREN's mission is accomplished largely through interest-free, micro-credit loans made to mothers and through individual grants for specific educational programs. FORGOTTEN CHILDREN is not faith-based, although its principles are rooted in doctrines of human rights and opportunity espoused by all major religions. FORGOTTEN CHILDREN does not make decisions based on religious affiliation. We believe that every child has a right to enjoy childhood as well as to learn to read and write.
